Daiwa Crossfire (Spinning)

The Daiwa Crossfire Spinning Rod Series

The Daiwa Crossfire spinning rods are built on lightweight carbon blanks that come in a two-piece design for easier transport. For their price bracket, the blanks are remarkably reliable and robust, with an action that punches well above what you'd typically expect at this level. Titanium oxide guides throughout mean you can run both braid and mono without any issues. The EVA split grip pairs with an ergonomic screw reel seat that sits comfortably in hand; the cutaways in the reel seat improve feedback from the blank, so subtle bites transmit more clearly and are easier to convert. Visually, the Daiwa Crossfire rods carry a black design with gold accents that matches the Daiwa Crossfire LT reels nicely - a solid combination, particularly for anglers on a tighter budget or those just getting started.

The Crossfire Spin Series

The Crossfire Spin is a versatile range built around a wide selection of lengths and casting weights, covering everything from perch and zander to asp and pike. All models share a medium-fast action and work well with soft lures on a jig head as well as plugs. The sensitivity of the blank lets you feel every touch of the bottom and every bite, and you can even pick up the movement of the lure itself - so you'll always know whether it's fishing correctly or whether the hooks have fouled.
