The Daiwa Pro Staff Yak & Belly are spinning rods from the Pro Staff series, designed specifically for use on small watercraft. The Pro Staff series was developed in close collaboration with experienced Daiwa team anglers and covers a wide range of models for almost every fishing technique. These rods have been tailored to the needs of kayak, canoe, float tube and SUP anglers. Features such as the extra-short handle allow you to work these rods in the tightest of spaces, and the rod lengths are ideally suited to close-range handling. A standout feature is the Daiwa exclusive locking ring made from metal, which is built into the handle, is rotatable and fitted with an eyelet for securing the rod. Alternatively, you can use the tapered aluminium ring in the handle to attach the Daiwa Pro Staff Yak & Belly to a safety lanyard.

These slim, extremely fast blanks offer an ideal balance of sensitivity and power. The blanks are further enhanced with an X45 carbon fibre construction, which increases torsional stiffness and reduces the risk of breakage. The V-Joint connection has been treated with a special layer of BIAS carbon, making this sensitive section highly durable while significantly improving the blank's bend curve. The blanks of the Daiwa Pro Staff Yak & Belly are built for the most important fishing techniques and target species - from finesse fishing for perch and zander through to hard-fought pike.
