A Small Crankbait for Perch, Trout and More

The Daiwa Tournament Baby Crank 35SR is a compact crankbait with a running depth of 0.3 to 1.5 m, making it one of the smallest hard lures in the Tournament range. Don't let the size fool you, though - beneath the surface it produces strong pressure and powerful vibrations, yet it runs completely silent, with no rattle. On hard-fished, pressured waters that's often a real advantage, as larger, wiser fish have learnt to treat a rattle as a warning sign. Perch, trout, chub and even asp all respond well to this small hard lure. You can fish the Tournament Baby Crank 35SR on a straight retrieve or work it with twitching - the latter being particularly hard for perch to resist.

Floating into Tight Spots and a Tough Lip for Structure Contacts

True to JDM standards, the Daiwa Tournament Baby Crank 35SR is finished to a high standard and fitted with quality components, including Saqsas treble hooks. The diving lip is made from a thin but highly durable plastic that holds up well against rocks and other underwater obstacles - inevitable contacts when you're fishing a crankbait effectively. Deliberately ticking bottom is one of the most productive ways to fish a crankbait, and this one handles it. Its floating action also makes it very effective, especially on streams and small rivers, where you can let it drift under overhanging bushes and similar features - bringing it right to the doorstep of a big trout holding in the shade or a wary specimen chub.
