French brand FishXplorer produces some genuinely interesting kit for predator anglers, and the Brocator v2 Xplorer is well worth a closer look.
A Glove That Protects Your Hands When Landing Predators
The Brocator Xplorer Handschuh from FishXplorer is a slip-on glove designed specifically for predator anglers, protecting your hands during the landing of pike, wels catfish, and other toothed predators. It is made from a highly durable yet flexible material that reliably prevents cuts and punctures. Thanks to its open construction, you can pull it on one-handed - even mid-fight - so you are ready to land the fish within seconds. The snap and magnetic clip make this even easier: attach the glove to your belt, slip your hand in, and release the magnet in one smooth motion. The latex coating does not absorb odours and can be washed clean, so the glove stays fresh after repeated use. A genuinely useful piece of kit for serious pike and catfish anglers. It is available in 3 sizes from M to XXL, and in models for both the right and left hand. The glove also comes with a Mini Scale measuring tape, which takes up virtually no space yet extends to 1.50 m, letting you measure your catch quickly on the bank.
The FishXplorer Brocator Xplorer Handschuh at a Glance:
- Cut-resistant construction
- Latex coating - odour-resistant and washable
- Snap and magnetic clip for one-handed attachment to your belt
- Slip-on design for use mid-fight
- Available for right and left hand
- Sizes: M, L, XL, XXL
- 60% polyethylene (PE), 30% nylon, 10% elastane
- Includes Mini Scale measuring tape (up to 1.50 m)

Fits perfectly I ordered the size L on suspicion, as there were no concrete dimensions of the gloves anywhere. To make it a little easier for future buyers to choose the right size, here are a few details on my part for comparison: I have quite wide palms and short, thick fingers (palm width approx. 9 cm, palm circumference approx. 22 cm., fingertip middle finger length approx. 8.5 cm), in work gloves I usually wear size 10 (size 9 fits the dimensions too, but they fit too tight so I can't make a fist anymore). The landing gloves in size L fit me like a glove! Finger length and palm circumference fit perfectly! The material is slightly elastic so that even longer fingers should have space. Since the back of the glove is open, bulkier hands should also fit size L. My recommendation: for the “standard” hand sizes - size L... for women, or men with small, delicate hands - size M... and for men with hands as big as toilet cover - size XL;) I hope I was able to help you with my review:)

Mandatory pike fishing In my opinion, a must-have for pike fishing for anyone who wants to fish injury-free and has no time for breaks from injuries. It's also a great way to land catfish. Size fits well according to the information.:)

Great product Great product, will hopefully be inaugurated by the water at times. I chose a size XL and it fits. I usually have more L, so if you are between two sizes with your hand, I recommend choosing the larger version.

I inaugurated the landing glove today. The glove is easy to get into, even while drilling. I'd rather land pikes by hand than with a landing net. This is how I avoid triplets getting tangled up in the net stitches.

Cool solution I haven't used the glove yet but it's a cool solution. L is usually sufficient. Fits my hand size perfectly. Thanks for the tip about the size in the review above!

Very good I've been looking for a suitable glove for a long time and now I've finally found it. I was already able to recommend him to friends and everyone was satisfied.

Finally a glove that fits halfway, fingers could be longer as far as I'm concerned. The best option for people with very big hands, I haven't found a bigger one yet.
Brocator Xplorer Lande-Handschuh L / Rechts
As expected, super fits like a glove with the size I have hacked in gloves size 9 (although I like to wear gloves tight) and the glove in L is perfect.
Brocator Xplorer Lande-Handschuh L / Rechts
Great product, size L absolutely suitable even for me with larger hands than average. The glove also passed the practical test without any problems.

Quick delivery! The product is great for landing pikes. I attached the glove to my backpack with a magnet. If you land quickly... excellent.

Great part Really good gloves, I have left and right now. I deducted a point because the L sizes are already large.

So actually a top product, but either the magnet should be stronger or the glove should be able to float. I had the glove on the landing net as usual, and it came off the magnet when I hit the net and I just didn't catch it again before it sank to the bottom. Unfortunately very unfortunate
