Gan Craft Ayrton 63 Floating

Japanese manufacturer Gan Craft has built its reputation on uncompromising quality in both rods and lures.

A Crankbait Built for Perch

The Gan Craft Ayrton 63 crankbait stands out through its outstanding build quality and an exceptionally enticing action. The MR version reaches a running depth of up to 2.5 metres, while the SR version runs down to 1.5 m. At 63 mm, the lure is sized perfectly for perch, though it will readily account for other predators too. It was developed by Japanese bass pro Geki Yoshida, who brought his practical experience to every aspect of the design. The lure comes into its own on warmer days when perch drop into deeper water and are actively feeding. Its mid-range running depth lets you place it right beneath baitfish schools without fouling in weed. A strongly rolling, tail-heavy action at comparatively low water resistance means you can fish this crankbait on relatively light perch rods. During pauses, the floating lure rises back up through the water column - a trigger that regularly tempts even wary predators into striking. Build quality, action and finish are all at a genuinely high level on this hard lure.
