A Small, Vibrating Metal Lure for Jigging and Fast Retrieves
The Hybrida Barschbaron BladeJig, developed in the workshop of Gregor Babiarz and co-developed by Birger Domeyer and the Fisch&Fang team, is a vibration bait available in various sizes and colours. Its look takes inspiration from the Barschbaron, but the way it runs is an entirely different story. Even at the lightest pull, this metal lure kicks into a frantic vibration that draws immediate attention. It really comes into its own when jigged along the bottom, where it can outperform a classic soft plastic on a jig head in certain situations. The attachment points on the back cause the lure to rise steeply through the water, which gives you a real edge when fishing from the bank. Wound back at pace, the Barschbaron BladeJig reliably tempts perch, asp, zander and the occasional pike. It also lets you cover large areas of water quickly and efficiently - something made even easier by its outstanding casting distance. The three attachment points on its back determine the running frequency and vibration intensity. The front eye produces a subtle, low-frequency action that suits jigging, the rear eye triggers an intense vibration that works best for fast retrieves, and the middle eye is the all-round option and a solid choice for most situations. When a hungry predator does commit, two ultra-sharp BKK double hooks make sure it stays on. The hooks are always positioned point-up to reduce snagging and maximise hook-up rate. Whether you're working it slowly along the bottom or cranking it back at speed, the Hybrida Barschbaron BladeJig is a lure worth having in your box.
