Jackall Chubby 41

The Largest Model in a Popular Crankbait Family

The Jackall Chubby 41 is the largest model in the well-established Chubby range - a hard lure crankbait measuring 4.1 cm and weighing 5.5 g, with a running depth of up to 0.7 m. That makes it a natural choice for working shallow water thoroughly. The main target species are perch, trout, chub, asp and largemouth bass, though don't be surprised if larger predators take an interest too. If there's pike in your water, use a wire trace or titanium leader to protect your line. The Jackall Chubby 41 is available in a wide range of colours, from natural to bright, so you'll find something to suit most conditions.

Steady Retrieve or 'Stop & Go'

For light lure fishing, the Jackall Chubby 41 is straightforward to work. Even on a plain, steady retrieve it produces the rolling and wobbling action that anglers rate so highly. Combine that with a 'Stop & Go' retrieve and the lure rises temptingly during each pause, which is often enough to trigger a take from hesitant predators. Wind it back fast and you generate extra vibration that can provoke a reaction from active - and less active - fish alike.
