Jackall Mag Squad 160 SP

Jackall is a brand known for top-quality lures and other tackle, with every product carrying the hallmark of meticulous build quality and well-thought-out features.

Now in a Bigger Format: the Jackall Mag Squad 160 SP

The Mag Squad is a well-established hard lure that has proven itself over many years - anyone who has fished it knows exactly what it brings to the water. Originally available only in the 128 mm version, it built a strong reputation for surprisingly good pike catches. To target that species even more effectively, Jackall took the same action and the distinctive design, scaled them up, and arrived at a length of 160 mm. The larger profile means predators with a bigger appetite won't hesitate, and the bigger silhouette it throws through the water column makes it a particularly strong choice in winter, when fish tend to favour more substantial prey.

You can work the Mag Squad 160 SP in several ways. A slow, steady retrieve makes it wobble and roll at the same time, quickly drawing interest from pike and other predators. Build in short pauses and the suspending action holds it in the zone, giving fish the ideal moment to commit. If that doesn't trigger a response, you can also work it with sharp rod twitches, much like a twitchbait.

It also holds its own in saltwater, and thanks to the reinforced treble hooks it is well suited to sea bass and other species.
