A Big Soft Lure for Big Zander and Pike

The Keitech FAT Swing Impact 6.8" is the second-largest model in the series - a swimbait built for targeting big zander and pike. It also performs exceptionally well in salt water, including cod fishing. At 36 g and 17.5 cm, this is a substantial soft lure that gets the attention of large predators. Keitech uses their Two-Tone Injection process to manufacture it: two differently coloured rubber compounds, each infused with squid flavour and varying salt content, are injected into the mould simultaneously. The result is highly attractive colour designs combined with precise swimming behaviour. The different salt ratios in the upper and lower body balance the lure perfectly, producing a particularly attractive yet stable action on the retrieve. The Keitech FAT Swing Impact 6.8" carries an intense squid scent - one of the most effective attractants available - which encourages predators to hold on to the lure noticeably longer.

Tail Action and Rolling Action Combined on a Steady Retrieve

The characteristic action of the FAT Swing Impact blends tail action and rolling action in a single package. The paddle tail, set at 90°, generates an extremely intense tail action - strong enough to feel clearly through the rod. The body adds a pronounced rolling action on top of that. You get this full combination even on a very slow, steady retrieve, making it irresistible to large predators. The Fat Swing Impact 6.8" also works well when jigged, so you can fish it on heavier jig heads at greater depths.

Rigging Options:

	Weightless on an Offset Hook - A slow, steady retrieve just below the surface is the key with this rig. It has proved particularly effective for zander fishing at night.
	Chikubi Rig - Nail sinkers are inserted into the body at the belly markings, causing the lure to sink slightly faster. Match the weight of the nail sinkers to the size of the lure.
	Jig Head Rig - No rig is used more often than the jig head rig. Simply thread the Fat Swing Impact onto a jig head and you're ready to fish. You can also opt for tungsten heads instead of traditional lead, allowing you to fish the same weight with a smaller profile at the hook.
