Lieblingsköder 15 cm

The classic, time-tested colour variants of the Lieblingsköder are now available in 15 cm - ideal for pike fishing and zander fishing during the colder months.

Lieblingsköder 15 cm

The Lieblingsköder needs little introduction. Thousands of anglers swear by these soft lures, and with good reason - they catch fish, consistently. The intelligently developed weather method takes the guesswork out of colour selection for any given water and day. Now the range from the Dessauer lure workshop has been extended with a larger model aimed squarely at pike and zander. The smaller sizes have already proved themselves on these predators, but in cold water, going bigger often makes the difference when targeting large fish. The 15 cm Lieblingsköder fills that gap.

Rigging the Lieblingsköder on a Jig Head

Once you have found the right jig head, rigging the Lieblingsköder correctly is straightforward with a technique that has proven itself time and again.

Start by holding the jig head alongside the soft lure to find the ideal exit point for the hook point. Mark this spot lightly with the hook tip directly on the lure.

Next, insert the jig head centrally and horizontally straight into the mouth of the soft lure.

Slide the lure cleanly onto the jig head, taking care to work it neatly around the hook bend.

Bring the hook point out at the marked spot and the lure is rigged correctly. Tip: if the lure keeps sliding down the hook shank, try a jig head with a screw lock - for example, a Musaga Hannibal jig head.

Treble Hook Rig for the 15 cm Lieblingsköder

Materials You Will Need:

• 14 cm wire - diameter: 0.40 mm
• Crimping pliers
• Treble hook size 8
• 2 x crimp sleeves - diameter 1.2 mm
• Size 2/0 jig head - kept small deliberately, as a larger hook would stiffen the soft lure and compromise its action in the water
