Lieblingsköder Topwater Pencil

An Easy-to-Fish Stickbait for the Surface

The Lieblingsköder Topwater Pencil is a classic 8.5 cm surface stickbait designed to walk the dog with very little effort. Lieblingsköder put particular emphasis on making it as straightforward to fish as possible, so you can work it effectively and get results straight away, regardless of your experience level.

Enticing Walk-the-Dog Action with a Splash

With short, sharp twitches on the retrieve, the Lieblingsköder Topwater Pencil traces wide, sweeping zig-zag paths across the surface - already a compelling trigger for any predator watching from below. On top of that, it throws an extra splash that mimics a small fish in a panic, which can be the final push that turns a follow into a full-blooded take.

Additional Visual Triggers for Maximum Appeal

The action is only part of the story. As you retrieve it, the Lieblingsköder Topwater Pencil tilts and rolls through approximately 90 degrees on its axis, causing the flanks to flash attractively and giving predators an extra visual cue to commit. A wide range of colour patterns means you can match the right look to the conditions on the day. All in all, a well-rounded stickbait that delivers on the surface.

How to Fish It

Work the rod tip with light twitches as you reel in and the lure will walk the dog in wide, sweeping arcs across the surface. The retrieve is deliberately forgiving - you do not need to dial in a precise rhythm to get the action working.
