Nories Upper Cutter 95 / 10.8 g

Zigzag Action, Splash, and Rattle

The Nories Upper Cutter 95 is a stickbait with a slightly rounded body that supports its outstanding action on the water. Work it with a slow retrieve and gentle rod twitches and it runs with a beautifully reliable zigzag - classic walk-the-dog style. Short pauses in between make it even more effective, and pike in particular respond very well to this approach. At a faster retrieve it becomes a reliable option for asp, while perch can be taken on surface lures in almost any style depending on their mood. Alongside its clean zigzag movement, the Upper Cutter 95 produces a subtle splashing sound and rattles as it moves. This combination draws predators up from depth, making it a surface lure that produces even when you can't see fish actively feeding at the top.

Fixed and Free-Moving Weights

The Nories Upper Cutter 95 carries a fixed metal weight in the front section of the body, giving it exceptional stability. At rest, it sits almost horizontal in the water with just the head angled slightly above the surface. A second weight is housed in the rear of the body and moves freely, delivering casting performance and an enticing sound. You can fish this stickbait effectively on a spinning rod, but it really comes into its own paired with a baitcaster.
