A Popper Built for Difficult Waters

Fishing pressure in Japan is intense, and species like largemouth bass have grown notoriously wary as a result. Nories developed the Tough Bug specifically for these heavily pressured, cautious fish - which is exactly why the Nories Pro Staff refer to it as a 'Tough-Time-Popper'. What works on suspicious largemouth bass translates just as well to the species you'll be targeting closer to home: perch, pike, asp and chub all respond to this popper, making it a reliable fish catcher at surface level. The Tough Bug is silent - no rattle - and lands on the water with exceptional softness after the cast, causing minimal disturbance. It rights itself quickly and produces a very natural splash sound. You can work it equally well on a spinning rod or a baitcasting rod.

Japanese hard lures are renowned for their striking finishes, and Nories is no exception.
