Westin Spot-On Popper

A Popper Built to Turn Heads - Above and Below the Surface

The Westin Spot-On Popper is, according to Westin, one of the finest surface lures in its class. Several well-thought-out details bring together visual appeal and a polished action that predators find hard to ignore. A lifelike fish body, realistic eyes, hand-painted, detailed colour schemes and a hand-tied feather treble hook at the tail combine to create a presentation that's as convincing as it is striking.

An Action That Provokes Hard Takes

How you work the Westin Spot-On Popper makes all the difference. Fish it with short, sharp wrist twitches for an aggressive, erratic response, or try long, steady pulls for a more fluid presentation. Either way, the wide mouth opening produces a distinctive popping sound and generates bubble trails through the water. Ribs along the belly create additional turbulence with every twitch, and the body also produces a low-frequency knocking sound - a combination of triggers that consistently draws aggressive strikes.

Extended Wire Loop for Easy Attachment

Attachment has been given proper thought too. The Westin Spot-On Popper comes fitted with an extended wire loop that makes rigging straightforward, whether you're tying direct to fluorocarbon or clipping on a snap. As pike are more than happy to smash a popper on the surface, it's always worth considering a titanium leader or wire trace to protect your line.
