Live Target Slow-Roll Shiner

Lifelike Detail Through Modern Technology

The lure designers at Live Target have built a reputation for highly realistic soft plastics, and the Slow-Roll Shiner is a fine example of that work. Using their Injected Core Technology, a lifelike PVC core is wrapped in a transparent rubber Exo-Skin, creating an exceptionally natural profile that will tempt even the most cautious predators into striking. The Live Target Slow-Roll Shiner is available in a range of sizes and colours, giving you the right option for most situations on the water. It has proven itself particularly effective for largemouth bass, zander and perch, while the larger sizes will draw pike out of cover too. Beyond freshwater, it has also produced results in saltwater, accounting for species including snook, redfish and even tarpon.

A Subtle but Irresistible Rolling Action

The Slow-Roll Shiner needs very little input to get to work. The transparent paddle tail responds to the lightest pressure and generates a subtle yet highly attractive rolling action. Combined with the reflections produced by the inner core, the result is a shimmering, lifelike movement that predators find hard to ignore. You can fish it on a jig head in the traditional manner or rig it on an offset hook - both setups work well. Whether you're working it close to the bottom or through open water, the Slow-Roll Shiner handles any depth with confidence.
