Svartzonker McRubber Shad

The Slim McRubber

The Svartzonker McRubber Shad is the slimmer variant of the McRubber, built with a narrow body that keeps the weight comparatively low. That slender profile means it works well even on lighter rods, gets down to depth faster, and fishes confidently in strong current. Its action is quick with a subtle rolling wobble that triggers predators into striking.

Ideal with Screw Systems

The Svartzonker McRubber Shad comes in 2 sizes, both of which fish best with a screw system - particularly the larger variant. Whether you choose a Shallow Rig or a stinger rig with a Screw Head, this shad works superbly on both and reliably tempts large predators. Pike especially take it extremely well. You can fish it on a simple straight retrieve, but stop & go and jigging work equally well. Thanks to a tough rubber compound, it holds up to predator teeth remarkably well and can be expected to account for several fish. That rubber compound is phthalate-free plastisol.

The Flash Shad Special Series

The Svartzonker McRubber Shad is also available as the McRubber Flash Shad. This special series features a reflective foil inside the body that produces light reflections for extra attraction - often the additional trigger that finally gets a predator to commit.
