Mikado is a Polish manufacturer with a comprehensive range of tackle covering every branch of angling.
Despite what the name might suggest, the Mikado Filetiermesser Set 310 is far more than just a pair of filleting knives. It does include 2 specially profiled filleting knives with soft, razor-sharp blades measuring 6 and 8 inch (approx. 15 and 20 cm), but the set also comes with a 5 inch (approx. 13 cm) boning knife with a serrated edge, a pair of scissors, a knife sharpener, and a cutting board. Everything you need to get a fish kitchen-ready is right here in one place. All the handles are made from plastic with a non-slip design that sits securely in the hand - even when your hands are wet and covered in fish slime. The knife sharpener is straightforward to use and a genuinely handy tool, not just for the knives in the set. The scissors are sturdy, feature an ergonomic grip, and are ideal for trimming fins. The entire set comes in a practical folder-style carry case, so everything stays together and is ready when you need it.

- Safe product.
- Check the product for damage before use.
- Always use the product for its intended purpose and in accordance with the instructions.
- Keep knives and sharp tools out of the reach of children, pets and other persons who do not need access. Secure used sharp objects when transporting them to avoid accidents.
- Use the tool only for the tasks it is designed for. For example, a knife should not be used as a crowbar, tin opener, chisel, screwdriver, etc.
- If the tool has a blade, ensure it is sharp. Blunt blades require more force, which increases the risk of injury.
- Always carry tools with the tip and blade pointing downwards at your side.
- Point the blade away from your body when using, washing or drying the tool.
- Work in a well-lit area so you can see what you are doing.
- Cut on a stable surface. Use a chopping board or a non-slip mat to prevent the workpiece from sliding on the work surface.
- Wear protective clothing such as cut-resistant gloves or mesh gloves, especially when using a guiding hand.
