The Fat Lui from Monkey Lures is a serious big bait at 18 cm, built with one purpose in mind: targeting the biggest pike in the water.
Your PB Won't Be Safe for Long!
The Fat Lui is defined by its massive paddle tail, which generates substantial pressure and vibrations with even the slightest movement. Predators can pick up those signals from a considerable distance through their lateral line - they don't even need to see the lure. The slim body rolls and flanks with an enticing side-to-side action, while the large paddle tail allows you to fish the Fat Lui extremely slowly, which means even the most lethargic pike struggle to ignore it. When the pressure on a water is high, this should be your first choice.
Go Big or Go Home
The Fat Lui isn't aimed at small or medium-sized fish - the target is trophies. A special blend of salt, oil and flavourings gives it an irresistible attractant effect on pike, and predators tend to hold on to it longer than usual, giving you more time to drive the strike home. The large eyes create an extreme trigger for attacking predators, acting as a focal point during a strike so that big fish miss far less often.
Visible in Any Conditions
Underwater visibility is affected by many factors - coloured water, light penetration and depth all play a role. The Fat Lui is available in colours with varying levels of UV activity so you can match the right lure to the conditions. High UV activity works best when the water is very coloured and light levels are low. In clear conditions with good light, a colour with medium to low UV activity is the better choice, as the lure looks more natural.
Colours at a Glance
- Perchzilla: Perch pattern for clear water (medium UV activity)
- Firetiger: The classic Firetiger pattern - a reliable pike producer in coloured water and at dusk. A staple in any tackle box (high UV activity)
- Watermelon: Natural pattern with a striking orange belly. Works well in slightly coloured water or overcast conditions (medium UV activity)
- Carpe Nostra: Golden back, green belly - an offer no pike can refuse (medium UV activity)
- Fake Perch: Natural pattern with very high UV activity, effective in both clear and coloured water - a true all-rounder (high UV activity)
- Frozen Herring: Striking blue pattern with a pink belly, designed to shock predators into reaction bites. Excellent in coloured water and at dusk (low UV activity)
- Lean Bream: Silver bream imitation - a natural pattern that produces in clear water with minimal cloud cover (low UV activity)
- Toxic Zebra: Toxic green zebra pattern that practically glows - highly effective in coloured water and at night (high UV activity)
- Ugly Duck: A genuine pike magnet and a strong producer in clear water (low UV activity)
- Vanilla Cognac: Brownish body with glitter particles - a subtle, understated choice for clear water (medium UV activity)

Fat Lui 18 cm Grandma's Mistake (Flash Series)
I really like the new Fat Luis with holofoil. The foil flashes greenish and provides extra appeal. The baits smell good and have a pleasant rubber compound. The decors are also all very successful.

Top baits for big loot Since my junior has just about all Monkey Lure baits, this could not be missing either. The system fished great to lead and a great run. Leide has kept Junior away from the big spoils so far but we won't give up

Decor is simply great! In this size, of course, it's more for the big comrades, but that's not bad. As always, I'm very satisfied with the delivery and the support! THANK YOU

Fat Lui 18 cm Perchzilla
See below! Unfortunately lost one eye after about 10 throws and the second half released, but also caught two pikes 88cm and 69 cm. Bought a second one on an order from a friend and glued both eyes. Now he is being fished on Sunday! Still a great run and catchy. Delivery and processing as always top notch!!!

Cool bait I only find one disadvantage when growing no matter which bait from Monkey Lures falls off what I find really a shame for a bait in the price segment

Nice bait, unfortunately the glued eyes came off very quickly (after 3 throws) and were lost.
