Seafood Flavour That Seals the Deal
Every Monkey Lures King Lui 7.5 cm comes loaded with seafood flavour - a scent underwater that adds an extra trigger even for cautious predators and followers on the verge of turning away. The flavour is based on a specific blend of aromas, salt and oil that keeps fish holding on rather than spitting the lure back out.
Built to Perform from the First Cast
The King Lui 7.5 cm carries all the characteristics that have made this lure a firm favourite. Its exceptionally flexible body is ideal for predators that inhale their prey, as it folds together easily and offers minimal resistance thanks to the particularly soft rubber compound. The pronounced eyes act as a key trigger for sight-hunting predators, while the comparatively large paddle tail delivers consistent, reliable action even at slow retrieve speeds. Monkey Lures have also built in recesses along the body to make it even easier for predators to inhale the lure.
The Story Behind the 7.5 cm
After the Monkey Lures King Lui in 10 cm had been pulling one big fish after another from the water, demand for a size aimed specifically at perch grew steadily louder. The result is the King Lui in 7.5 cm. This smaller version received a subtle but effective facelift, most notably a more steeply angled paddle tail that generates extra action and drives perch wild. The range also includes two additional colours: Yung Freezy and Perchzilla.
Colours
- Salt&Pepper: a classic, ideal for clear water
- Purple Haze: black back, purple belly with pink flakes - clear water
- Yung Freezy: blue head, turquoise highlight stripe, milky tail - fresh design for clear to slightly coloured water
- Sexy Jane: particularly deadly at dusk
- Bugs Pumpkin: very natural pattern, ideal in clear to slightly coloured water (lightly UV-active)
- Salted Perch: green head and tail, pale body, lightly UV-active
- Honey & Sugar: honey-coloured with a red head and light UV activity
- Perchzilla: perch pattern for clear water
- Apple Bomb: vivid green and extremely UV-active, especially effective in coloured water
- Electric Monkey: a highly effective colour combination with strong UV activity - another powerhouse at dusk
- Baba Brown: rich brown with strong UV activity
- Atomic Perch: washed-out green with very high UV activity
- Motor Bug: dark natural colour with strong UV activity
- Big L Spezial: glow in the dark
- Chili Cheese: the classic big-fish colour
All packaging carries a colour label for easy identification. The label also lets you sort your lures by UV activity at a glance.
Rigs for the King Lui
All these features combined make the King Lui 7.5 cm a top-tier soft lure that pike, perch and zander find hard to resist. It is versatile across a wide range of presentations - on a jig head, for vertical jigging, drop shot, Carolina rig and Texas rig alike. Whether you keep it simple on a jig head or go finesse with a Carolina rig, the Monkey Lures King Lui 7.5 cm delivers serious action underwater.
Big L with his perch magnet - the King Lui in 7.5 cm is a serious weapon for perch fishing.
