Noike Busy Bro

The Latest Craw from Noike

The Noike Busy Bro is a creature bait developed by Noike's head Mitsushiro Takeuchi in collaboration with Lurenatic. Takeuchi travelled to Germany and the Netherlands to test the prototypes on local species in real conditions - and even early versions were already tempting perch and pike into taking. The design was refined further before going into production, which is entirely typical of Takeuchi's approach: made in Japan, internationally tested, and only released to production once he is completely satisfied.

Between the Mighty Mama and the Smokin' Dad

Noike's craw and creature bait range has grown steadily, and the Noike Busy Bro sits between the subtle Mighty Mama and the lively Smokin' Dad. The design features long, above-average thick arms with claw-like pincers that produce a moderate action, complemented by a wealth of smaller details that generate additional turbulence and micro-vibrations in the water. The head has a distinctive design with two tapering 'plates' that channel water during the retrieve and create turbulence around the bait. The body is slightly more voluminous with fine ribs, and 8 small legs run along each side - these respond to even the gentlest movement, kicking out subtle vibrations throughout the retrieve.

Skirted Jigs and Finesse Rigs

Along the back of the Noike Busy Bro run two raised ridges that protect the point of an offset hook from weed and unwanted snags, while still allowing a clean hook-up on the take. This makes it well suited to finesse rigs with an offset hook - Free Rig, Carolina Rig or Jika Rig all work well - but it also performs excellently as a trailer on skirted jigs. The primary targets are perch and, where they occur, largemouth bass, though zander and pike will take it too. An intense shrimp/fish attractant helps convert cautious fish, and the salt content gives the bait exceptionally good balance in the water.
