The Reins Kick Ringer 3" is a cross between a worm and a pintail shad, with a built-in soft weedguard as its defining feature. The slim pintail tail and ribbed body generate the action, while an additional pintail at the head end acts as the weedguard. Thread that over your jig head point and you can present this little soft plastic right in the heart of cover - among weeds, submerged timber and other structure. Exactly where perch tuck themselves away and wait for prey like the Kick Ringer 3".

The Reins Kick Ringer 3" works well across a broad range of presentations. It shines on a jig head and on small skirted jigs, and it puts up equally strong numbers on various rigs. For those lighter, more subtle presentations, Reins recommends snipping off the weedguard - the lure then twitches with a particularly seductive action, with the ribs and pintail doing the rest to trigger a take.
