The Rhino Motors BLX 60 V2 is the compact and lightweight 60 lb model from the expanded BLX motor series. The motors in this popular series are more powerful, more efficient and safer than their predecessors, making them ideal for demanding boat anglers. At 60 lb thrust on 12 V, the motor delivers approximately 500 W - equivalent to around 1.5 hp. That is enough to move boats of up to 1,800 kg, inflatable boats and kayaks.

Maintenance-Free and Suitable for Salt Water

The Rhino Motors BLX 60 V2 uses a brushless design, meaning there are no carbon brushes to replace. The result is a completely maintenance-free motor. Importantly, this comes without any compromise on versatility: the motor is equally at home in both fresh water and salt water.

Stepless Speed Control with Sport Mode

Thanks to the Vario Speed principle, the Rhino Motors BLX 60 V2 offers steplessly variable speed control in both forward and reverse. When you need full power in an instant, the Sport Mode delivers it. Press the S-mode button and the motor jumps straight to maximum output - useful not just for performance, but also as a safety measure when you need to manoeuvre quickly. An integrated display lets you read off key operating data at a glance, including battery charge level and current motor output.

Maximum Range and Electronic Protection

The integrated PWM technology maximises the range from each battery charge. To keep everything safe and prevent damage, the motor features a built-in electronic protection system that guards against overvoltage, short circuits and overload, making an external fuse unnecessary. The USB port lets you charge your smartphone or other electronic devices directly from the motor.

Straightforward to Use in Every Respect

The Rhino Motors BLX 60 V2 is as easy to handle as it is capable. At 10 kg it is pleasantly light and straightforward to mount. The 2.1 m battery cable gives you plenty of flexibility when positioning the motor and battery. The shaft measures 0.91 m and is made from stainless steel. You can adjust the propeller immersion depth and steering resistance steplessly, and the tiller is extendable. When you need to lift the propeller clear of the water, a lever release lets you fold the shaft up quickly and without fuss.
