Savage Gear 4D Herring Big Shad

A Realistic Herring Imitation for Big Sea Predators

The Savage Gear 4D Herring Big Shad is a ready-rigged large soft lure that delivers an exceptionally realistic imitation of the Atlantic herring - one of the key baitfish for the big predators of the northern seas. That makes it a highly effective choice when targeting halibut, cod, and saithe. Its lively, lifelike action kicks in not only during a steady retrieve but also on the drop, making it well suited to both jigging and trolling.

Solid Construction and Practical Variants

The Savage Gear 4D Herring Big Shad arrives ready to fish, fitted with a highly detailed, weighted head and an exceptionally tough, forged 4X strong single hook. The 25 cm and 32 cm versions come with an additional Kevlar stinger for improved hooking. The soft PVC body releases a tempting anise attractant, and the tail root is reinforced with nylon mesh to extend the lure's service life. The 22 cm and 25 cm sizes each include a spare body, while the 32 cm version is supplied as a single, ready-rigged lure.
