Savage Gear Da'Bush Spinnerbait 18 cm / 42 g

Savage Gear has built a strong reputation for developing well-thought-out lures, and the Da'Bush Spinnerbait is a fine example of that approach - a robustly constructed spinnerbait built specifically for targeting pike.

A Spinnerbait Built for Hard Pike Fishing

The Savage Gear Da'Bush Spinnerbait is an exceptionally well-made spinnerbait designed for targeted pike fishing. It excels in heavily weeded areas, where its specially shaped stainless steel frame with a double-angled wire shields the hook from fouling on vegetation and virtually eliminates hang-ups. This makes it ideal for working through lily pad fields, where pike hold tight in cover and are almost impossible to reach with other lure types.

The Da'Bush Spinnerbaits are bent from extra-heavy stainless steel wire and built to last. Every component is of the highest quality, ensuring outstanding running characteristics. The spinner blades are stamped with a honeycomb pattern that scatters light more diffusely than smooth blades. Each lure is individually tested for its running behaviour before leaving the factory. The forged hooks, made from high-carbon steel, are needle-sharp and exceptionally strong. A Black Nickel finish provides solid protection against corrosion. The extra-long, fine glitter and silicone skirts respond to the slightest movement, and a silicone curly tail grub trailer gives pike an additional trigger. The underside of the head is fitted with an eye that accepts additional weights, letting you increase the running depth whenever the situation calls for it.

To prevent short-striking pike from missing the hook, every Da'Bush Spinnerbait comes supplied with a matching trailer hook. The blades begin rotating the instant the lure hits the water, provoking hard takes even during the sink. A closed eye in the wire arm significantly increases stability during the fight, and the lure can be attached directly to a snap rather than being knotted on - unlike many other spinnerbaits. It also cannot 'slip' under pressure during the fight, which improves the landing rate considerably. The Da'Bush casts a long way, and its weight means you can work it through deeper areas at a slow retrieve. All in all, this is a spinnerbait made for heavy pike rods when you're going specifically after big pike.
