Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Distance Game

When Distance Is Everything at the Coast

The Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Distance Game rods were built specifically for coastal situations where maximum casting distance is the priority. Their impressive length puts your lures out to extreme ranges - ideal when you need to punch through surf on open beaches or cover the wide expanses of an estuary. That extra reach lets you get to sea bass, sea trout and bluefish holding well off the shore. These rods work at their best with long-casting lures such as spoons, casting spoons, sinking stickbaits and long-casting plugs. Fish spotted on the horizon? The Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Distance Game has you covered.

Quality Components for Consistent Performance

Each Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Distance Game rod measures 2.90 m and is built on a high-modulus 24T/30T Carbon blank. The SeaGuide Gunsmoke SW guides with SiN inserts complement the blank perfectly and keep casting performance at a high level. The handle consists of a Split Grip EVA design in robust Duragrip70 material, paired with a solid SeaGuide Gold Label reel seat. It's a combination that sits well in the hand and keeps your fixed spool reel firmly in place. Built with quality components throughout, the Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Distance Game delivers real enjoyment on the water.
