Savage Gear Revenge SG4 Texas & Carolina 2nd Gen / 2.38 m / 10-28 g / Two-Piece

Built for Texas & Carolina - and Much More

The Savage Gear Revenge SG4 Texas & Carolina 2nd Gen is a specialist rod from the second generation of the Revenge series, designed specifically for fishing with Texas and Carolina rigs. It also handles a wide range of other finesse rigs with ease. At 2.38 m with a casting weight of 10-28 g, it is particularly well suited to larger waters such as lakes, rivers, canals and harbours. Primary target species are perch, though zander and largemouth bass are equally well within its range.

Fast Action and Outstanding Sensitivity for Precise Lure Presentation

The Savage Gear Revenge SG4 Texas & Carolina 2nd Gen is built on a Japanese Torayca 30T carbon blank. Its fast action and high sensitivity let you feel every pebble on the bottom, giving you the control to present your lure with maximum precision. That same excellent feedback means even the most tentative bite registers clearly, so you can react without delay.

High-Quality Components and a Great Feel in the Hand

Alongside the blank, the rod is fitted with high-quality components from SeaGuide. The SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides are very lightweight and feature a Tangle Free Design that prevents line wrapping around the rings. The SiN inserts are very smooth, offer minimal friction and have an extremely hard surface - making them an excellent choice for braid. The EVA split grip is fitted with an ergonomically shaped SeaGuide Alien Lock Down reel seat, which holds a fixed spool reel securely in place. The ergonomic design gives the handle a great feel in the hand, staying comfortable even after long sessions.
