Savage Gear Salmonoid SG2 Medium Game

Built for Sea Trout & More

The Savage Gear Salmonoid SG2 Medium Game is a rod series developed specifically for sea trout fishing along the coast. Whether you're casting from beaches or rocky shorelines, these rods are built to cover big distances. Beyond sea trout, they handle sea bass and other saltwater predators just as well. The forgiving, well-balanced action lets you feel even the lightest takes, and you can still drive the hook home at distance. When a bigger fish pulls hard, the power in the blank gives you the backbone to stay in control - so these rods are as enjoyable to fish as they are reliable.

Quality Components for Consistent Performance

The blank is constructed from high-modulus 24T/30T carbon. The rings are SeaGuide stainless steel frames with SiN inserts, combining good casting properties with saltwater resistance. The split grip in quality cork offers a comfortable, tactile hold. To top it all off, the rod delivers an excellent price-to-performance ratio.
