Savage Gear SG4 Medium Game Travel

A Four-Piece Travel Rod Series for Anglers on the Move

Travelling opens up no end of fishing opportunities, whether you're chasing familiar species or something entirely new. To make sure you're always fishing with the right rod wherever you end up, Savage Gear developed the SG4 Game Travel Series. These four-piece travel rods are built for easy transport and compact enough to fit inside a large suitcase. Once assembled, the multi-piece construction disappears completely - casting performance, feedback and lure presentation are fully on a par with two-piece rods. The action has been kept deliberately versatile so you're not limited on the water: soft lures, hard lures of all types and spoons all work equally well. The rod's fast recovery gives you consistent contact with your lure throughout the retrieve. The available lengths and casting weights cover a wide range of species across all kinds of waters. Seaguide guides are fitted throughout - tangle-free and fitted with SiC inserts, so you can fish mono and braid with equal confidence. Paired with a light fixed spool reel, this is a series that delivers well beyond the trip itself.
