Zeck NXT Feeder

Catching Your Own Deadbaits

The Zeck NXT Feeder is a rod series built for feeder fishing - that is, fishing for non-predatory species using a feeder cage. For targeting pike and wels catfish in particular, you often need baitfish on the larger side, and these rods are ideally suited to catching that baitfish. Whether you're after roach or other white fish for deadbaiting for pike, or larger species such as bream, chub, or crucian carp for wels catfish fishing, these rods let you put the right bait in the net. To help you adapt to varying conditions - wind strength, current, and how the fish are feeding - 2 interchangeable tip sections are included. These differ in stiffness and offer more or less resistance accordingly. A colour-coded mark below the tip ring makes bite detection straightforward.

Not Just for Baitfish

The Zeck NXT Feeder rods are genuinely enjoyable when you've got a fish on. The quality carbon blank has solid power reserves, so even fish that are too large to serve as baitfish can be played out with confidence. And it's not only non-predatory species these rods handle well - predators too are well within their scope. If you're after eel or zander, these rods are well worth a try. Whether you're fishing with a worm or a deadbait, the highly sensitive tip picks up a take immediately, yet offers very little resistance to the fish. Especially in flowing water, this approach is often the most effective way to target these species. So with the Zeck NXT Feeder, you're not limited to catching baitfish and other non-predatory species - they also work very well as predator rods for eel and zander.
