Westin W2 Deadbait Lakes & Pits ST

Built for Pike on Bigger Waters

The Westin W2 Deadbait Lakes & Pits ST is part of Westin's Deadbait series and was developed specifically for pike fishing on larger lakes and pits. If you're working big deadbaits on open water, this rod gives you the reach and power to get out to fish that are holding well away from the bank. Bigger waters tend to produce bigger pike - and the W2 Deadbait Lakes & Pits ST is fully capable of handling specimen fish, making it the right tool for serious big-pike anglers.

Casting Power with a Strong Backbone

Built from 24T/30T High Performance Carbon with a Medium action, this blank is engineered for long casting distances. The action is tuned to load and deliver even soft deadbaits like sardines at maximum range without losing the bait on the cast. The powerful backbone delivers the decisive strike needed to set the hook in a pike's hard mouth. A VSS Screw Down reel seat locks your fixed spool reel firmly in place, while the S-TLSG Premium guides are optimised for minimum friction and work equally well with mono and braid. The Full Grip handle in premium EVA provides a secure, comfortable hold throughout the fight. This is a deadbait rod built without compromise for big pike on lakes and pits.

The Semi-Telescopic Design: Excellent Action, Easy Transport

At 3.30 m, the W2 Deadbait Lakes & Pits ST gives you all the advantages of a longer deadbait rod. To make transport easier, Westin has built it on a semi-telescopic design: the lower section collapses telescopically, while the upper section connects like a standard put-over joint. The result is the excellent action of a high-quality put-over rod combined with a short packed length - deadbait fishing made as practical as it is effective, fight after fight.
