Savage Gear SG6 Salmonoid Spinning

The Rod for Coastal Specialists

The Savage Gear SG6 Salmonoid Spinning is a rod series built with one purpose at its core: lure fishing for sea trout and salmon. If you head out with light to medium lures - sea trout spoons, for example - you will quickly appreciate the outstanding casting performance these rods deliver. The Torayca 30/40T Carbon blank loads up beautifully, and the generous rod lengths help launch your lures to remarkable distances. Coastal anglers who need to reach fish holding far out will find exactly what they are looking for here. They also perform very well on rivers, making them a capable all-round salmonid rod for larger fish. The blank is highly sensitive, so you can detect takes at maximum casting range, while the power behind the action lets you set the hook decisively and handle big fish with confidence. At the same time, the action is tuned to absorb runs and significantly reduce hook pulls during the fight.

Premium Build, Premium Components

Beyond the Torayca blank, the Savage Gear SG6 Salmonoid Spinning comes fitted with further high-quality components throughout. The blank carries a SeaGuide CCS ring set with stainless steel frames and SiN inserts, adding real durability against the demands of saltwater, sand and tough coastal weather. The premium full cork handle surrounds a high-quality Fuji reel seat that holds your fixed spool reel securely in place. The build quality and component choice on these rods make them a serious tool for anyone chasing the silver of the coastline.
