The Shimano Sedona FJ is a front-drag fixed spool reel built for use in both fresh and salt water, combining a solid set of Shimano technologies with an excellent price-to-performance ratio. The body is the lightweight yet rigid G-Free Body design, constructed from XT-7 Graphite - a material that keeps weight down without sacrificing durability. Inside, the combination of Hagane Gear and SilentDrive technology delivers a smooth, powerful retrieve, even when playing hard-fighting fish. The drag system performs equally well under pressure, releasing line smoothly and consistently when a fish makes a determined run. You can also feed line by back-winding, as the anti-reverse can be disengaged via a lever. The Sedona FJ is a robust reel that works just as well for beginners as it does for more experienced anglers. The silver finish with gold accents gives it a clean, attractive look that matches its performance on the water.
