The Right Stradic Spinning Rod for Every Application
The Shimano Stradic (Cork) Spinning series covers several spinning rods, all built around a Moderate Fast action. The rods in this series are fitted with a cork split grip, which also sets them apart visually from the Stradic spinning rods with Fast action. If you're after a spinning rod with Moderate Fast action, you'll find the right model here. For a perfectly balanced set-up, these rods pair beautifully with a Stradic fixed spool reel - the Shimano Stradic FM, for instance. That combination is extremely well balanced and finely matched in every respect, making a day's fishing a genuine pleasure, both in feel and in looks.
Responsive Blanks with High Precision
The Shimano Stradic (Cork) Spinning rods are built on a lightweight, high-quality High Modulus XS R Multi-Directional Carbon blank. The lower section features Diaflash Technology, which reduces blank twist and delivers highly efficient power transfer during the cast and throughout the fight. These rods offer outstanding sensitivity, letting you feel every subtle pluck and the lightest bottom contact with real clarity - which in turn allows for very precise lure presentation. Every bite is transmitted instantly through the responsive blank, so you can strike without delay. Whether you're fishing fresh water or salt, these spinning rods are highly dependable tools for predator fishing, thanks to their precision and exceptional performance during the fight.
Fuji Rings and Reel Seat
The Shimano Stradic (Cork) Spinning rods have a clean, modern look to them. The combination of the Shimano blank with Fuji components throughout - rings and reel seat alike - delivers not just visually, but out on the water as well. Depending on the model, the rods are fitted with Fuji Alconite K-, KW- or KR-type rings. The careful choice of ring configuration achieves a well-balanced rod feel, and all three ring options support casting performance with their quality construction, enabling excellent casting distances. The handle is a split grip with cork inserts. The Fuji reel seat is matched to the casting weight and power of each individual rod, reinforcing the overall harmony of the build.
