Noike Smokin Dad 3.5" (8.9 cm)

Irresistible for Perch, Zander and Largemouth Bass

The Smokin' Dad from Noike has already put plenty of big perch on the bank in its earlier sizes - now it comes in a larger format. At 3.5" / 8.9 cm, this is a serious mouthful that big fish simply can't ignore. That said, the relatively slim profile means average-sized perch of 25 to 30 cm will happily take it too. Zander and largemouth bass are equally fond of this craw - this larger variant promises plenty of variety on the water.

The Flutter Kick Action

The Noike Smokin' Dad is an eye-catching action craw with highly animated claw movement. The claws paddle up and down in a rhythmic, pendulum-like motion - a characteristic its developer Mitsushiro Takeuchi calls Flutter Kick Action. This draws attention and, ultimately, bites.

A Design Mix from Noike's Most Successful Lures

The design of the Noike Smokin' Dad draws on several of Noike's proven soft plastics. The curved claws are inspired by the tail paddle of the popular Smokin' Swimmer, while the body features a ring body design taken from the Wobble Shad and carries 2 pairs of legs just like the Yabby. The design mix is completed by long antennae familiar from the Donkey Boo. The Smokin' Dad also brings its own unique elements: an identical belly-and-back design means it looks the same no matter which way up you rig it. Both sides are equipped with a hook channel, allowing for a weedless presentation without having to bury the hook point inside the plastic.

Versatile Use

You can fish the Noike Smokin' Dad simply on a jig head, but it really comes into its own with more varied setups. It works perfectly across a range of rigs fished on an offset hook - Carolina, Texas, free and Jika rigs, to name a few of the most popular. It also performs excellently on a Cheburashka head and makes an outstanding trailer for skirted jigs and chatterbaits. A highly versatile craw that lends itself to a wide variety of approaches.
