DUO Spearhead Ryuki 38S

The Smallest Ryuki

The DUO Spearhead Ryuki 38S is the smallest of the Ryukis. At just 3.8 cm, this sinking mini hard lure still tips the scales at a respectable 2.8 g - weight that, combined with the lure's distinctive design, gives it a very stable flight path. The result is a lure you can cast far and accurately, making it a solid choice for any trout water, whether a small stream or a lake.

Sharp Action That Drives Trout Wild

Like the other Ryukis, the DUO Spearhead Ryuki 38S features a flat, slightly high-backed profile. You can retrieve it at any speed and it stays highly effective throughout - it already produces its attractive action at a slow pace and remains stable even at full speed, making it well suited to strong currents as well. Twitching works well too: in the pauses the lure drops away quickly, giving it a feel not unlike a jig. The sharp, snappy action puts trout into a frenzy and draws hard, aggressive takes.

A Hidden Gem for Saltwater

The DUO Spearhead Ryuki 38S is not only a reliable trout catcher in fresh water - it can be just as deadly in salt water. If you find yourself by the Mediterranean or even tropical seas, pack a few. Rock fishing with this lure accounts for a wide variety of saltwater predators and provides great sport. Because the hooks are on the fine side, you can swap the treble hooks for slightly stronger single hooks - handy too on trout waters where treble hooks are not permitted.
