Zeck SR Free Spool

A Free Spool Fixed Spool Reel for Deadbaiting and Beyond

The Zeck SR Free Spool is a free spool fixed spool reel available in several sizes, purpose-built for deadbaiting and a range of other styles. Whether you're targeting eel, pike, zander, or wels catfish with a deadbait rig, or sitting it out for carp, or even feeder fishing, this reel handles it all with ease.

Robust, Durable and Reliable

The Zeck SR Free Spool is built around a 100% aluminium body - a deliberate choice for long-term robustness and reliability. The drag system uses carbon washers and delivers between 8 and 10 kg of braking force depending on the model. The 4000 size runs a high gear ratio, letting you retrieve rigs cleanly over shallow areas and rocky ground without snagging. The 6000 size has a slightly lower gear ratio, but compensates with a very high line pick-up per turn. The finely adjustable free spool means fish feel virtually no resistance when they run with the bait - no more fishing with an open bail arm or line clip. If you need a dependable free spool reel for your sessions, the Zeck SR Free Spool is well worth considering.
