Westin JerkBite MR

The Medium-Running Jerkbait Built for More Bites

The name of the Westin JerkBite MR carries a promise: a jerkbait that generates bites - lots of them. Westin invested over 2 years of development before releasing it on predators. This hard lure works as both a twitchbait and a jerkbait, but also catches fish on a straight retrieve. Its real strength, though, lies in being worked with sharp jerks and twitches. You can vary the retrieve continuously, with long pauses, short pauses or no pause at all - always matching exactly what the predators want on the day. The Westin JerkBite MR is, in short, a jerkbait for every mood of the predators. This medium-running MR model is right at home searching for fish along drop-offs, sheet pilings and in open deeper water.

Finish, Balance and Action All Deliver

The Westin JerkBite MR performs on every front. A Long-Cast System built around 2 steel balls inside the body ensures outstanding casting performance: long distances and accurate presentations come naturally, as the steel balls slide towards the tail on the cast. Once in the water, they shift back to their resting position in the belly of the JerkBite, perfectly balancing the lure. Twitched and jerked, it breaks away erratically - then, on the pause, it hangs weightless in the water. That suspended moment is when bites so often come. It is not just the action that draws predators in, though; the finish does the work too. The Westin JerkBite MR features a highly durable ABS body dressed with realistic eyes and hand-painted, detailed colour schemes. The plug is available in a wide range of finishes, mixing vivid, eye-catching colours with more subtle, semi-transparent patterns. Perfectly balanced and visually compelling, the Westin JerkBite MR will put plenty of big predators on the unhooking mat.
