Westin Ned Worm

Westin offers a strong selection of effective soft plastics for perch, zander, and pike.

A Worm Built for the Ned Rig

The ned rig has become one of the most talked-about techniques and has been responsible for plenty of big perch. Worms designed specifically for this method are a key part of making it work, and the Westin Ned Worm is exactly that. It comes in 3 different lengths and was developed primarily for use with dedicated ned rig jig heads. Those flat lead heads stand upright on bottom contact - an effect that the Ned Worm's floating nature amplifies further. Once it settles on the deck, it stands up like a small fish searching for food. The tapered body means the tail responds to the slightest rod twitch with an enticing waggle. Irresistible to perch, and to zander as well. If the ned rig isn't your thing, the Ned Worm also performs on the drop shot or a Texas rig.

Special Material

The TPR material used in the Westin Ned Worm has properties you won't find in your typical soft lures. It is extremely elastic, highly durable, and buoyant - the elasticity alone makes this lure virtually indestructible. There is one important point to bear in mind, though: never store lures made from this material alongside conventional soft plastics. The two materials react with each other and will dissolve into a sticky mess. Always keep them stored separately.
