Westin Original Perch

The Legend Behind Tommy's Bait

The Westin Original Perch was born from the partnership between Westin and Tommy's Bait, specialists in lifelike lure design. The Original Perch was the first lure Tommy designed, back in 2015. Since then, he has drawn on knowledge gained through aquarium observation, diving and fishing to continuously refine the design. External fins were added over time, making the appearance even more realistic. The real standout, though, is the hand-painted, exceptionally realistic colour scheme - a level of detail that sets this outstanding perch imitation apart.

The Paddle Tail That Stands on Its Head

The action of the Westin Original Perch is just as convincing as its looks, delivering a remarkably natural movement. That unique swimming action, even at the slowest retrieve speeds, comes down to an unconventional paddle tail design: the tail is rotated 180 degrees upwards. This swimbait works best when you retrieve it steadily or with a slight, irregular action. The smaller sizes fish particularly well on a jig head, while the larger sizes also work very effectively on a shallow rig and other stinger rigs.
