Small but Mighty

The ShadTeez is already well established as a highly effective soft lure, and the Westin ShadTeez Slim is now available in 5 cm. Built as a first-rate lure for perch and zander, it features an extremely slim body and weighs just 1 g - a true ultralight offering. Despite its delicate proportions, the attention to detail is immediately apparent: realistically sculpted eyes, a distinctive mouth, and carefully formed gill covers right through to the pectoral fin. The level of detail on this smallest member of the ShadTeez family is exceptional.

The small paddle tail has roughly the same diameter as the body itself. This means that, for its compact size, it generates high-frequency vibrations with considerable intensity. The slim profile also allows predators to inhale the lure with virtually no resistance, which translates directly into a better hook-up rate.

The Exceptional Action of This UL Lure

The ShadTeez is defined by a sinuous, rolling action that holds up even at higher retrieve speeds - exactly what makes this soft lure so versatile and consistently productive. As it works through the water, its flanks catch the light alternately, and the turbulence generated by the shad tail reinforces this motion further. Rigged on a drop shot or worked by jigging, it is a natural choice for zander and perch. The 5 cm size is particularly reliable during the spawning period of baitfish and deserves a place in every tackle box.
