A Small Jerkbait for Zander, Perch & Co.
The Westin Swim Glidebait 65 is a compact jerkbait that works brilliantly on a spinning rod with a fixed spool reel, giving you a wide range of retrieve options. Even a straight, steady retrieve produces a rolling, dying-baitfish action - and once you add pauses, that subtlety is often all it takes to draw strikes. This style of presentation tends to be especially effective for zander and trout. Perch, on the other hand, often respond better to sharper inputs: twitching the Swim Glidebait 65 sends it darting erratically through the water, imitating a panicked baitfish. That approach is particularly deadly in summer, when perch move into the shallows to feed.
Lead-Free Construction
The Westin Swim Glidebait 65 is hand-painted and built around a long casting design for maximum distance. It achieves this without the use of lead, making it a sound choice for waters where lead is prohibited. A wire-through-body construction runs the full length of the lure, securing the ultra-sharp carbon steel treble hooks and adding significant durability to the whole build.

Swim Glidebait 6,5 cm | 9 g | Suspending Real Perch
I recently bought the Westin Swim Glidebait in Real Perch Decor and am absolutely amazed by its performance. The realistic design and high-quality details of the decor make this bait a real eye-catcher in water. The replica of a real river bass color is incredibly precise and deceptively real. When fishing, this bait has proven to be extremely effective. The gliding movement is smooth and seductive, which literally attracts predatory fish. I was already able to catch several pikes and walleye with it, which reacted aggressively to the bait. The robust construction and sharp hooks ensure that the fish are securely hooked and held.
