Westin W2 Boat

Built Tough for Saltwater

The Westin W2 Boat was designed for hard use in saltwater and is available in a range of variants. These are compact, powerful rods built to handle hard-fighting predators such as halibut and cod. At the same time, they are so well balanced that you can work heavy lures all day without fatigue. Thanks to their 3-piece design and very compact packed length, the Westin W2 Boat doubles as an excellent travel rod that stows away without any fuss.

Quality Components and Maximum Control During the Fight

The Westin W2 Boat is built around a 24/30 T High Performance Carbon blank that delivers both the power reserves you need and the sensitivity to stay in touch with your lure. Westin has specified quality components from Seaguide throughout. A DPS reel seat keeps your multiplier reel locked firmly in place even during the most intense fights. The SXEOG Premium guides reduce friction and ensure a clean, smooth line flow while working in harmony with the blank. A specially developed Comfort Cross Gimbal (CCG) gives you maximum control during the fight and prevents painful pressure points or bruising. The gimbal is compatible with a fighting belt. The rod is finished with a quality EVA grip that offers a comfortable feel and a secure hold. If you are after a well-balanced saltwater rod for big predators that delivers solid performance, the Westin W2 Boat is a sound choice.
