Less Weight, More Feel - Thanks to a Modern Carbon Construction

Westin's Scandinavian design team built the W2 Reel around an advanced carbon construction for the body and rotor. This keeps weight down so you can fish all day without fatigue, and it sharpens sensitivity so that even the lightest takes are transmitted reliably. A lightweight aluminium spool contributes to long casting distances and solid line management. When a fish is hooked, the anti-reverse and carbon drag system earn their keep, delivering consistent pressure without stuttering. A CNC-machined brass gear set, stainless steel main shaft and zinc drive gear combine to give you plenty of cranking power and lasting durability. A sturdy aluminium handle with a TPR knob keeps things firmly under control when you're fighting hard predators. The Westin W2 Reel is supplied in a hard case for safe transport and storage.

W2 Reel 3000 FD

First of all, it is typical Westin quality (I have 10 Westin rods and 2 Westin W6 rolls) but I have to complain that the final “finish” looks a bit cheap. I usually fish the Daiwa Exceler rolls and I find them really more successful. But as I said, quality is still great, is very quiet, has a good feel and also looks good.

It's an averagely good role, not a page of fame for Westin. The Okuma or Kastkings in the world are better.M because cheaper. But this is not a devaluation of HuB. They are great and very fast to ship.
