Westin W3 Finesse T&C 3rd

A Specialist Rod for Texas & Carolina Rig

The Westin W3 Finesse T&C 3rd are specialist spinning rods built specifically for Texas and Carolina rig fishing. They handle other finesse rigs just as well. The lightweight Torayca carbon blank is extremely responsive and delivers high sensitivity, letting you feel every nuance of the bottom and pick up even the most tentative bites from wary perch. At the same time, Westin has struck a precise balance between sensitivity and backbone, so you can drive the hook home reliably into a hard zander mouth and still have enough power left in reserve during the fight. Whether you're working open ground, structure or weed, the W3 Finesse T&C 3rd gives you the precise, controlled lure presentation that serious finesse angling demands.

First-Class Build Quality at an Excellent Price-to-Performance Ratio

The third generation of the Westin W3 series is built on high-modulus Torayca High Performance Carbon blanks from Japanese production, delivering outstanding responsiveness on the water. The ergonomic EVA grips are designed for a secure, comfortable hold in all conditions, giving you excellent feel throughout the session. A Carbon SKS-LS reel seat holds your fixed spool reel absolutely firm and rattle-free. The blank is fitted with Seaguide EUKTLTSG guides, which are ideally suited to running braid without friction. A Seaguide TUHOOK#4 hook keeper is integrated into the build, letting you secure your rig safely when moving between spots. As with the rest of the range, first-class craftsmanship meets premium components for an excellent price-to-performance ratio.
