Westin W8 Finesse T&C 2nd

Designed for Finesse Rigs and Light Lures

The Westin W8 Finesse T&C 2nd is a spinning rod built specifically for finesse fishing with finesse rigs and other light lures. Westin's aim was to create a versatile, sensitive rod covering a wide range of modern finesse techniques - one that lets you target smaller predators such as perch, trout and chub with precision. Whether you're working a Texas rig, a Carolina rig, a Ned rig, small skirted jigs or light jig heads, the rod delivers great action combined with maximum feedback. At 2.15 m, the W8 Finesse T&C 2nd is equally well suited to bank fishing and boat fishing.

Featherlight and Responsive, but with Plenty of Backbone

The blank of the Westin W8 Finesse T&C 2nd is based on a cutting-edge Torayca T1100GC blank combined with M40JB carbon fibre. This extremely lightweight blank was developed specifically for targeting smaller predators on finesse presentations without sacrificing the power you need when it matters. The fast action delivers outstanding sensitivity - you get razor-sharp feedback on lure movement and feel even the most tentative takes right down into the handle. The blank also makes an impression visually: the striking FE2O3 iron oxide finish looks both refined and contemporary. This is a precision tool you can fish with for hours without fatigue. For perfect balance on the water, Westin recommends pairing the W8 Finesse T&C 2nd with a fixed spool reel in size 1000 or 2000.

High-End Components and an Individual Serial Number

Westin makes no compromises on the specification of the W8 Finesse T&C 2nd, fitting it throughout with high-end components. Tangle-free Fuji SiC guides and the precise Fuji T2C carbon reel seat work in perfect harmony with the blank, while the Seaguide Arc Hook 2.5 rounds off the setup as a functional hook keeper. Each rod carries its own individual serial number, making it a one-of-a-kind tool. Protection is taken care of by a quality neoprene rod sleeve, and the rod is delivered in a triangular cardboard box.
