Xorus Deviant

An Irresistible Glidebait for Pike

The Xorus Deviant is a full-bodied jerkbait measuring 15 cm and weighing 82 g. It falls into the glidebait category, and its action reflects exactly that - though what makes it stand out is how versatile the retrieve can be. Wound in steadily, it tracks in sweeping S-curves; the moment you jerk it, it comes alive as a true glider, breaking into an erratic action with sharp lateral darts and a gorgeous gliding motion. Two retrieve styles, two distinct behaviours - both irresistible to pike.

Voluminous and Highly Visual

The Xorus Deviant carries a full, deep-flanked body with high, flat sides that catch the light brilliantly during the retrieve - particularly when jerked - and send out intense visual signals. Its sheer bulk means it displaces a significant amount of water, a stimulus that pike pick up acutely through their lateral line. And there is one more trigger in the mix: a large internal ball produces a deep, thudding knock that provokes an extreme reaction. Expect savage, committed takes.

Long Casting and the Option to Fish Deeper

At 82 g, the Xorus Deviant already has the kind of mass that delivers strong casting performance on its own. Add an internal weight-transfer system and you have a lure that genuinely flies, putting very long casts within reach and making those distant hotspots accessible. The Deviant is sinking by design, which already opens up a range of fishing depths. If you want to go deeper still - especially at faster retrieve speeds - you can fit the lure with an additional weight: there is a dedicated chin eye for exactly that purpose. More versatility, more pike.
