Zeck Baby Rippler 14 cm

A Shad with a Large Silhouette and Low Weight

The Zeck Baby Rippler is available in a range of colours and combines a large silhouette with low overall weight. Its angled, deeply cut ribs improve aerodynamics and reduce bulk, keeping the shad highly mobile and allowing it to fold easily on the take - a design choice that directly improves hookup rates. The ribs also generate water turbulence, making the lure even more attractive to predators.

Two-Speed Action for Maximum Versatility

The Zeck Baby Rippler features a flexible two-speed action controlled by the upper tail tip on the paddle tail. In cold water, the tip delivers a stable, calm retrieve with reduced tail movement - a subtle action that works particularly well in winter conditions. Remove the tail tip in summer and the paddle tail wags more freely, producing a lively, high-frequency flank movement that suits warmer water and active predators.

The Largest in the Series

The Zeck Baby Rippler in 14 cm is the largest member of this lure series. It sits squarely between pike and zander in terms of target species, making it an attractive meal for both. A jig head in size 4/0-5/0 is recommended for rigging.
