Zeck Barsch-Alarm Shaky Stick

Dietel's Pintail Shad

The Zeck Barsch-Alarm Shaky Stick is Dietel's Pintail Shad, developed through the collaboration between Zeck Fishing and Johannes Dietel alongside a range of spinning rods and baitcasting rods. It comes in 3 different sizes. The body is broader than a typical shad and tapers into a long, slender tail. In cross-section it is pear-shaped and slightly flattened on the underside, which gives it excellent glide when rigged as a soft jerk on an offset hook or a dart jig head. The lower half of the body is salted at 20%, producing a horizontal sink during which the lure vibrates along its horizontal axis. The tail adds further vibration: this pintail features a small ball with a pin, and when worked, the tail breaks into fine oscillations that trigger perch into biting.

Extremely Versatile and with a Tasty Attractant

The Zeck Barsch-Alarm Shaky Stick is made from a soft yet durable rubber compound and is loaded with a squid attractant. To help release that attractant into the water, the body carries a fine ribbed pattern that increases surface area and produces additional micro-vibrations - something perch find particularly hard to resist. The range of applications is extremely versatile: rig it as a soft jerk on an offset hook, on dart jig heads, on standard jig heads, in finesse rigs, on a drop shot rig, or as a trailer on bladed jigs, spinnerbaits and skirted jigs. There is almost nothing this soft lure cannot do. For use on offset hooks, it is fitted with slots on both the top and bottom, plus an offset seam along the back. Thanks to that seam you can fish it weedless without burying the hook point inside the body. The Zeck Barsch-Alarm Shaky Stick is a lure no perch angler should be without.
