When Your Deadbait Gets a Rucksack

The Zeck DB Rucksack Float is a buoyancy insert that slides into the back of a deadbait - which is exactly where the name comes from. It is available in 2 sizes and as a mix set. Once the DB Rucksack Float is pushed through the dead fish, the tip of the rod emerges at the belly. If too much protrudes, you can trim it down. The hook from your rig slots into this tip and is secured with a piece of rubber or, better still, with a DB Bait Flag. The Bait Flag adds visual attraction while also locking the float in place. The gallery graphic shows exactly how the finished rig should look. It is a superb way to present a deadbait hovering naturally in a horizontal position - irresistible to pike and zander.
