The Revised Hitch

The Zeck Hitch 2.0 is a revised, deep-running redesign of the twitchbait, developed in collaboration with Chris Enders. The look is noticeably more aggressive, with Angry Eyes giving it a unique appearance. The body remains slim but gains a slight hump in the middle, making it marginally more voluminous than its predecessor. For significantly improved stability, the line eye now extends into the body itself. Inside, the Weight Transfer System remains - providing extra acceleration on the cast and greater casting distance, making it ideal for covering large areas of water methodically.

For Twitching, but Also Straight Retrieves

The Zeck Hitch 2.0 is built for twitching, where it drives perch into a frenzy. It darts sideways like a panicked baitfish with a superb darting action, then holds its position with a trembling quiver on the pause, thanks to its suspending behaviour. That retrieve gets the most out of the bait. You can also work it on a simple straight retrieve, where it produces a wobbling action. Whichever way you fish it, it catches - and like its predecessor, the 2.0 runs completely silent, with no rattle. That makes it a silent twitchbait, which is particularly effective on heavily fished waters and regularly tempts even the most wary, specimen predators into taking.

A Wide Range of Sizes and Running Depths

The Zeck Hitch 2.0 comes in 3 different lengths, each available in 2 running depths. That lets you match the bait precisely to different predators, their moods, and different waters - whether you're fishing a shallow river, a canal, or a large, deep gravel pit, there's always a model that fits. The range of target species is broad: from perch, trout and chub through to asp, zander and even pike, it covers virtually every predator you'll encounter at home, as well as species on a trip south or at the coast. That versatility makes the Hitch 2.0 an all-round weapon for twitchbait fans.

Special Case: The Barsch-Alarm Edition with the Dietel Touch

In collaboration with perch specialist Johannes Dietel, a Barsch-Alarm Edition of the Zeck Hitch 2.0 was also brought to market. These models feature their own exclusive colour patterns but differ primarily in the hook choice at the rear. On the 6 and 7.5 cm models, the rear treble hook has been replaced with a feathered single hook, while the 9 cm baits carry a feathered treble hook. These feathers provide an additional visual trigger that regularly prompts hesitant predators to commit to a strike.
